Frequently Asked Questions

When are Aldi recruiting for Warehouse Selectors?
As a growing business, we are always looking for new Warehouse Selectors to help sort and pick our great quality products.

What qualifications do I require?
Warehouse Selectors need to be ready for hard, physical work and have a positive, can-do attitude. Good reading and numerical skills are a must.

What will the training involve?
All new Warehouse Selectors will shadow colleagues during their initial training period. Then you will fly solo, gradually working on improving accuracy and speed of picking, until you achieve the required high standard.

Where will I be trained?
The training is predominantly hands on and for Warehouse Selectors, training will take place at the Regional Distribution Centre.

How will I be monitored and assessed?
The Warehouse Section Managers will continually review your progress and you will receive constant feedback on your performance.

How many hours will I work?
Warehouse Selectors can work part or full time hours, on a day, evening or night shift over a seven day week (hours and shifts vary across different locations). Some Selectors may also work in Temperature Controlled Areas such as the chiller at 2°C or in the Freezer at -24°C
